About the event

This is a follow up from our previous event. Our most recent event, which was held at Building Six at the O2 arena, was an absolute success and I believe that this would be a great opportunity for any brand to be apart of. The event was called Bacchanal Time: Saka Fete Edition and showcased experienced and up-and-coming music artists and DJ’s in the Caribbean music industry. With big events planned in the future, I want to take this opportunity to offer sponsorship packages such as Co-Branded, Craft and Local Business sponsorships.

This would be a great partnership because I understand this small but significant part of the music industry; the origins of the music, the variation in sounds from different countries that produce Caribbean Music, the abundance of annual Caribbean carnivals that enriched the traditions of carnivals worldwide, and the current patrons in the UK and their desires. Additionally, I have national and international connections with various artists, DJ’s and promoters in this industry. Caribbean music is my passion; I want people to feel what I feel when I hear it – the enjoyment, the celebration, the freedom, and I will work my utmost hardest to make every event a success. I am not only doing this for myself, I want to create an opportunity for UK talent to become contenders in the genre and make international artists and DJ’s renowned in the UK. My name is Gareth Browne and I currently own a Music Event Promotion company called Bacchanal Promotions LTD. The aim of my business is to make Caribbean music genres, such as Soca, a popular genre of music through events, music downloads and radio. This is a very niche market in the UK with a surprisingly big following.
