About the event
The
Ohio Chapter of Italian Greyhound Rescue will be holding our inaugural Pups
‘N Pancakes on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Columbus Commons. Our goal is 250 participants. The great thing
about this location is the wonderful promotion & public awareness it
provides.This event is dedicated to raising funds for the Italian
Greyhound Rescue Foundation, Inc. (IGRF). IGRF is a registered 501(c)(3). Italian Greyhound Rescue is an all-volunteer
organization, all funds go directly to medical care for the dogs. Veterinary bills are getting higher each
year, and the number of dogs needing our help is increasing. With the help of some very dedicated
veterinarians and foster homes, we have been able to save dogs with
catastrophic injuries and illnesses, giving them a second chance for a new life
in a new home. Many of the dogs we help
would have been put to sleep, abandoned in shelters or worse if we were unable

The
event will feature pancakes from Katie’s
Pancakes. The most unique feature of
our event is that owners are encouraged to bring their dogs to
participate. We are currently seeking
sponsors for this the event. As sponsor,
we will list you as a sponsor on our website, in our printed materials, as well
as allow you to promote your business to the attendees.Why should you sponsor?
