About the event

It is our greatest honour to introduce a sponsorship opportunity with our student-led non-profit organization called Project Pulse. We strive to familiarize motivated high school students with the world of health sciences by offering yearly conventions throughout Canada. These conferences establish a valuable network of health professionals and university representatives by creating connections with brilliant individuals.

In November 2013, we hosted our first annual conference at the University of Waterloo; a sold-out conference with over 150 attendees. At our second annual conference, we had over 200 attendees. Currently, we will be hosting the year’s annual conference set for September 22nd, 2018 and will be expecting approximately 250 attendees. In order to make this conference possible for local high school students in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, we rely on the great generosity of our sponsors.

Why should you sponsor?

We are a non profit organization and rely solely on sponsorships to run our event. 

Project Pulse has a large network of students across Canada that will give you, the sponsor, the ability to better promote your business or organization. It would be immensely appreciated if your wonderful company could sponsor us in order to subsidize the cost of the conference to make it affordable for local high school students.

Your monetary investment will solely be used for the funding of the conference, such as offsetting the costs of booking the venue, AV costs, purchasing of food and refreshments, and the marketing costs required to help spread awareness of the seminar. We firmly believe that your investment will lead way for a mutually beneficial relationship.

My name is Hima Sheth and I am the president of Project Pulse Waterloo. I am a grade 11 student at Sir John A MacDonald and health science enthusiast. Through this conference, I hope to share my passion for health sciences with students all over Southern Ontario. The Project Pulse conference will allow aspiring health science and technology students to gain a greater insight into the world of medicine.
