About the event

The Prairie Harvest Festival is a unique gathering and fundraiser that features local food, live music, nature and local heritage demonstrations. Conserve Lake County will mark its 21st anniversary year with this event, which typically takes place at a “hidden jewel” in Lake County.

This year's event will take place at the historic Casey Farm, owned by Conserve Lake County and operated by Radical Root as an organic farm. New and proposed improvements to the farm will be unveiled and featured. Farm tours, demonstrations and local food will be available to all.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors of this event receive visibility and recognition in front of an audience of Lake County residents who are interested in nature, conservation, local food and sustainable living.

Sponsors are recognized verbally at the event and on all of the printed materials related to the event. There are opportunities to sponsor portions of the event, such as food and beverages, music, tents, as well as some of the improvements we are making to the farm such as demonstration gardens, permaculture exhibits, and signs.

Conserve Lake County is a 20-year-old 501(c)3 nonprofit that works throughout the county to foster healthy land for better lives. Preserving open space and stewarding natural areas have been at the heart of its mission since its inception. Through the award-winning Conservation@Home program, Conserve Lake County assists people county-wide in implementing conservation-friendly actions on a variety of property types. Conserve Lake County also leads and assists with landscape-scale planning efforts, and is the owner if the historic Casey Farm.
