POWERMAN Duathlon Luxembourg
POWERMAN, the global duathlon brand is heading to Luxembourg on May 4th 2014 for the debut of POWERMAN LU race. The event will be a World Championship Qualifier for the POWERMAN World Championships 2014 in Zofingen Switzerland
A Powerman is a variation of a duathlon that is of a noticeably longer distance. The distance is 10 km(2 rounds) running, then 60 km (3 rounds) biking, finishing with 10 km (2 rounds) running.
The race will start and finish in Diekirch with a lapped course taking in some of the fantastic sights of the town and near by area.
The POWERMAN LU race will be a great attracting for the city of Diekirch.
Well renowned athletes from around the world from the duathlon and triathlon scene, will participate in the event and will be staying in the town of Diekirch or near by for the weekend.
An estimated number of 440 athletes are expected to participate in the POWERMAN Luxebourg 2014 race.
We expect that the POWERMAN will attract around 3000-4000 visitors to be spectating the race.
