About the event
Power Invasion 2015 will be a time that the community of Connersville, Indiana can come together and pray for our City, State, and Country, as well as send praise and worship to Our Lord for 13 hours straight. We want Power Invasion to be an event that brings unity to the churches, businesses, and people to make this area a better place to live.
We want to be able to have a day full of fun, food, and fellowship so we plan of having multiple activities for all ages including: Bouncy houses for kids and adults, Corn Hole, Horseshoes, Bonfires, 13 hours of back-to-back worship groups, a "Drive-In-Movie" ten
t for kids, Free popcorn, Free Hotdogs after Trick-or-treat, Tug-of-War Competitions, Frozen T-shirt Competition, Doorprizes, and much much more!!!!
Connersville is a nice town but in recent years we have allowed it to go downhill. We want this event to be a turn around point in the path that Connersville is taking. Lets make our community a better place to live once again.
This will be a yearly event and all proceeds will go to support The Haven Youth Outreach to help meet their budget. The Haven is a Non-profit Organization that reaches out all of the youth in Connersville, and strives to help them find the right path for their lives. Every Friday night The Haven hosts a worship service called FUEL that brings together youth from all walks of life to worship together and to be equipped to reach out to other kids their age with the good news of the Gospel.
