I have noticed a growing talent within the poetic community yet why are we not being recognized such as those who are singers, rappers etc. I don't get to see that many platforms for those individuals who may be author's and poet's/poetesses so I thought why not create one for everybody! One that goes beyond facebook and the internet and since no one wants to give it to us...then we must go out here and create it for ourselves.

So with that being stated. To begin this powerful journey....I will be hosting along with a few other individual's, Poetic Dreams 1st Annual Uprising Event. This event is created with you in mind. For the creative souls who may be Poets/Poetesses/Spoken Word Artists, Singers, Musicians, Author's and even Models, Painter's/Drawer's, Photographers, Comedian's, Publisher's even the ones who just want to listen and see and be within that creative atmosphere!

This event will be held in the heart of Atlanta Georgia in 2016, So that everyone will be better prepared. Our event will be held at the Artmore Hotel and what better Hotel to stay and host an event that already has the first three letters ART.... We are looking for 60 -250 people to show up and the maximum occupancy that the Artmore Hotel is able to hold for our event is 250.

As many already know. Atlanta Georgia just screams art and entertainment; for their culture bleeds and breathes entertainment and art. Alot of successful people came from Atlanta Georgia such as Ryan Seacrest, Cee Lo Green, Future, and Usher moved to Atlanta and became successful as well. There are sooooo many people from the deep south of Georgia that became successful. Atlanta Georgia is also known for their creative arts and of course the underground that is now like an underground mall where you can shop and find great food.

I'm not sure if you understand the importance of this event, because I'm not sure if you understand just how important you are and what you think is just a simple "hobby" that we may do is actually a God given gift, that can lead us into our destiny only if we allow it to work for us! We truly are the light of the World and whether you believe it or not, people are watching us, what we do, how we do it, the way we speak because they are waiting to someone to help them...to take their time with them...to influence and lead them...to encourage...to support....to sympathize and empathize and we are that powerful voice...that powerful being that put stuff into action. Together we can bring change in a positive and strong manner. For we are all co-creators and this is the beginning for us to create a way not only for us but for other individual's as well.
