About the event

Play For Katie is a double elimination slow pitch softball tournament that I am going to be running for my senior project! The goal of this tournament is to raise money for Katie Cole's medical bills!

Katie is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with end stage kidney failure in April of 2015. These past few months for Katie has been really hard on her and her family. She has been in and out of the hospital, and also has been going through 4 1/2 hours of hemodialysis 3 times a week. Throughout that time period her family has been receiving a large amount of unpaid medical bills, traveling costs to see doctors, and much more!

You should sponsor the event because you will be helping me by not only making this event successful, but you will also be helping ut a hurting girl in need of support. You will be recognized by being on the back of the tshirts we are hoping to get made.

Katie Hutchins

My name is Katelynn Hutchins and I am a senior at Lake Lehman High School. Im 17 years old and I plan on attending college where i will major in nursing, and play college softball. After college I plan on joining the Navy or Marine Corps.
