Information about Start-up Teams:
1. Labii: Labii provides web apps for researchers. To date, 3 millions of apps have been developed to simplify our personal life. However, in academia, there are extremely limited number of apps for researchers, with the existing ones often outdated and difficult to use. Our platform brings advanced information technology into the process of academic research, by building research-orientated apps to integrate research resources, simplify research process and promote scientific collaboration.
2. Ropazi: Ropazi is a first of it's kind, online marketplace that connects millennial moms looking for unique clothing for their children with independent clothing brands (Indies), struggling to establish themselves in this $5B online market. We are a part of StartX Summer 2015 batch and have validated this Etsy-esque opportunity through research with 1500 moms, and have already on-boarded ten of the 50 Indies we have spoken with. We intend to build Ropazi into a strong brand with loyal consumers by adding personalization to our platform (think Netflix), and facilitating positive experiences for both consumers and Indies.
3. Qollaboration: Qollaboration generates internal knowledge networks for organizations, allowing users to more efficiently connect to colleagues with specific skills, knowledge or experience.
