Pink Soul (A Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser),

About the event

Pink Soul is an annual
fundraiser honoring and providing financial support to organizations that
address breast cancer and bring awareness to the public by way of research and
education. Pink Soul also honors individuals who have been affected by the disease.
We applaud them for their courage and their willingness to fight, for never
giving up, and for being strong individuals providing support to others who are
in the fight, dealing with breast cancer.

Pink Soul is a breast
cancer awareness fundraiser which is going to be held on 31 Oct 2015 at the American Legion in Towson and am
looking for 3 organizations that I can help raise funds for.  Our guest speaker will be Dr. Atsuko Okabe, MD who is a 28 year board certified general
surgeon in Baltimore, Maryland.  She is affiliated with
MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center specializing in breast surgery.

According to
betterdoctor.com, Dr. Atsuko Okabe, MD is one of the best rated doctors in the
United States.  Based on her credential, she has been named among the top 20% of
all doctors in the United States.  In addition, Dr. Okabe
was rated a “Top Doc” by Baltimore Magazine in 2014.

In addition to 3 organizations that we will highlight, we will also honor 3 breast cancer
individuals or who are going through treatment or who are survivors.  We will have  food and
entertainment which will consist of a live band and a DJ.  

Sponsorships will help with the management of the event and our Pink Soul journal.  In addtion, it will provide the organizations with much needed funds to continue to their operation, to financially assist their members who are facing financial hardship with everyday bills.
