About the event
In 2015 a unique opportunity presented itself to Utah Youth Rugby. Summit Rugby, one of the best high school girls rugby clubs in the USA, needed to save their Fall tour. The Utah Youth Rugby executive team sprang into action and the Pink Sevens was born. Utah has some of the very best high school rugby athletes and inviting the very best High School Girls teams to compete in a very unique girls only rugby 7s tournament keeps the standard high.
Rugby 7s is fast and very exciting. Girls rugby is growing at a rapid rate and Utah is at the forefront of that wave. Utah Youth Rugby was formed in 2010 to promote, serve, advocate, and organize youth rugby in the state of Utah. Since then we have grown from a handful of teams to over 60 High School and Youth teams for boys and girls in the State of Utah.
What is our end goal? Getting boys and girls active in a sport that we not only love but believe offers a vehicle for personal growth into young men and women capable of accepting and standing up to challenges in their lives.The Pink Sevens is a special showcase of the incredible talent that Utah and the USA has in high school girls athletes.
The 2019 Pink Sevens will add a number of new teams to the event. Pool Rounds will be played in the morning at the magnificent Regional Athletic Complex on Saturday October 12, 2019. The championship matches will be decided on the Championship Field that afternoon and under lights.
The Pink Sevens would not be complete without a social afterwards. Participating teams will have an opportunity to renew old friendships and get to form new ones. The bonds of friendship and respect that rugby forms is a significant part of the rugby culture. Winning a tournament is fleeting, but rugby friends are for life.

We fell that it is importnat for young women to develop stromg charcaters as youth and grow into empowered women. Your sponsorship therefore not only creates opportunities for young women to play a sport, be active and develope strong self images, but also develope the characters they need to be successful after high school.

Utah Youth Rugby will place these field banners around the rugby fields in full view of spectators. These banners are expected to receive over 40,000 impressions during the tournament. FIELD CANOPY BRANDING - Utah Youth Rugby seeks to use sponsorship funding to provide meaningful infrastructure to our events. Your sponsorship will provide Utah Youth Rugby with vital event equipment and enhance the overall experience of the event. With your support, Utah Youth Rugby will be acquiring additional canopies for use at the Pink 7s tournament in October 2019. These branded on field canopies are expected to receive over 40,000 impressions during the tournament. ONSITE ACTIVATION - In our experience, our partners receive the greatest benefit from our onsite activation pro-gram. Utah Youth Rugby will provide a space for your representatives to setup a booth to promote your organization and engage with the players and spectators attending the 2019 Pink 7s. You are free to setup marketing assets such as canopies, banners and any other physical branding assets they choose. Your representatives are encouraged to connect with those present at the event, distribute flyers and other promotional material as needed. Our 7s tournaments typically have over 1,000 people attending and are generally present for the whole day.
