Terrell GuyPhilly Spotlight provides fun, enriching activities to Philadelphia locals and tourists so you can enjoy our favorite city as much as we do. But, what does it all mean if we can’t inspire a generation of new artists and musicians to follow suit?
We’re trying to change that. All of the services through Philly Spotlight are done with a mission that’s close to our hearts – youth education, empowerment, violence prevention and risk reduction.
The Youth Empowered through Performing Arts (YEPTA) program is Philly Spotlight’s partner in giving back to our community. They are responsible for grooming countless young people to pursue their dreams in performing arts and sciences. This after-school, weekend, and summer enrichment program creates opportunities for low-income youth to develop their skills in Graphic Arts, Music Instrument Digital Interface (Midi), Digital Recording, Photography, Computer Science and Aviation Science to name a few.
