Phantom Masquerade Charity Ball,

About the event

Dear Potential Sponsor,

On behalf of the Parents’ Association at Russell House in Otford, we ask for your support of our Phantom Masquerade Charity Ball, to be held on 7 May 2016.  We will be raising funds for Shine charity as well as to complete the installation of an outdoor classroom and initiate our next fundraising project - a very eagerly awaited minibus. 

Shine is a charity with a rich history, encompassing the unique struggles and achievements of people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus and the families, carers and professionals who have strived to make a difference.  Shine brings together this community of people and funds research and supports campaigns that lead to better medical care and greater understanding of these serious and lifelong disabilities.  We have chosen to support Shine in memory of the School’s owner, Mr Lindsay, who passed away last year. In the 1990s the school was adapted with various facilities to enable Emily Lindsay, his eldest granddaughter who has spina bifida, to attend in her wheelchair. The family has always been grateful for this as it enabled her to grow up around her peers and integrate fully. Parents and Staff are being asked for raffle prizes, auction prizes, and sponsorship, but we hope you will also help by sponsoring a table?  For a cost of £100, the table will be branded with any collateral you wish to provide as well as including a link to your company website on our dedicated website (www.russellhouseball.com) and Facebook pages.
