About the event
Peterborough L.I.V.E Music Festival is a non for profit local music festival in the heart of downtown Peterborough Ontario, Canada. This upcoming year will be our fourth year the festival has taken place here in Peterborough and this year we are working very hard to make it our best year ever as well since we have been putting on multiple fundraiser to raise money since we will be having a band headline our festival. L.I.V.E. is an acronym for Local Independent Venues Event.
After last year’s success, Peterborough LIVE is now a weekend long festival featuring over 50 local acts within the area through out 10 venues with styles ranging from rock, folk, metal, punk, hip hop, rap, jazz funk, R & B, country and bluegrass, each venue caters to a particular audience.Peterborough L.I.V.E is a collective of musicians and supporters founded in 2013 that supports musicians’ networking and music projects. Their first fundraiser event was on November 9, 2013 at The Venue. Musicians often give generously of their time to perform at fundraisers and community events: this time they are the beneficiaries!
Many of the original performers are returning for Peterborough LIVE, joined by more than 20 new acts coming from Peterborough and surrounding communities, and as far away as London and Toronto.

If you are located in the Peterborough area and would like to have your restaurant advertised throughout our festival we will promote your business in exchange for you to donate a meal big enough for either a solo artist or 4/5 piece band we will put your logo on our website and poster and mention you at one of our venues.
