The Domestic Violence cases have increased drastically over the past 5 years. There are limited resources available to assist women and children that are being abused. Through my organization, I want to help fill the gap and assist those who are being abused, homeless, and broken regain their power through our services: mentorship, advocacy, art therapy, education assistance, counseling, and purple ribbon baskets for survivors and their children. This organization was launched 2/25/2016 and since then I have been working tiredlessly as a sole executive to bring the programs to life. I am a survivor and I know that the gaps are in desparate need to be closed.
