About the event

The English Debating Society of Sri Venkateswara College is an integral part of learning and imbibing the skills of debating, which is not just recognised by the college but is also popular amongst various other colleges of the University of Delhi Debating Circuit and other esteemed institutions. We have a promising team of more than 30 members with a plethora of achievements and are renowned for Organising our Annual debating tournament “People Speak” which receives overwhelming responses in terms of participation from various esteemed institutions across India.

We are delighted to announce the 21st edition of the People Speak tournament that will be held from 03/02/2024 to 05/02/2024, it is a three-day debating championship, that is a 2 vs 2 British parliamentary debating format tournament, consisting of 5 preliminary rounds, followed by pre-quarterfinals, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the finals. As one of the first tournaments of the year, it initiates the debating season and sets the bar for all events to follow. We received participation from all across the Nation, making it a mega-debating tournament.

Why should you sponsor?

Deliverables from EDS SVC:

TITLE SPONSOR- Rs. 80,000/-

We request your support in terms of Rs. 80,000 for our tournament People Speak 2024. You would be shown as a sponsor for the tournament. We can offer the following deliverables to you :

1. Announcement of the organisation's name as the Title Sponsor before every round in the tournament. This tournament will be attended by 250+ students from across the country from various fields like law, medicine, engineering, computer science, economics etc.

2. We would be promoting you on various social media platforms, i.e. Instagram, Facebook, etc. You would also be floating in our participant's Instagram stories and WhatsApp statuses respectively, which will create a mass outreach and greater traction for your esteemed organisation.

3. Options to show a promotional video before the event additionally you can show a presentation or take a seminar about the organization before the event.

5. You will be shown as the Title Sponsor in pre and post-event videos.

6. Distribution of promotional pamphlets/ vouchers/ freebies to increase visibility.

7. Your logos will be showcased in all the promotional banners and posters, and personalised reels and stories will posted as well.

8. Database ( name, number and email address) of 250+ students.

9. We are open for negotiations for other requirements, (i.e. google reviews, follow-ups on Instagram, etc.)

CO - SPONSOR-Rs. 50,000/-

We request your support in terms of Rs. 50,000 for our tournament People Speak 2024. You would be shown as a co-sponsor for the tournament. We can also offer the following deliverables to you:

1. Announcement of the organization's name as the Co-Sponsor before every round in the tournament. This tournament will be attended by 250+ students from across the country from various fields like law, medicine, engineering, computer science, economics etc.

2. We would be promoting you on various social media platforms, i.e. Instagram, Facebook, etc. You would also be floating in our participant's Instagram stories and WhatsApp statuses respectively, which will create a mass outreach and greater traction for your esteemed organisation.
