About the event
It’s our 10 Year Parkinson’s Half Marathon/5K/Walk anniversary and we are back in-person! The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association is honored to continue the legacy of the Parkinson’s Half Marathon, 5K & 1 Mile Walk. The Nasett family and friends began this tradition in 2012. We are thankful to them for allowing us to continue their legacy. It has been the #1 fundraiser for the Wisconsin Chapter of APDA, with donations totaling over $400,000. An incredible achievement that’s possible because of YOU!
Why should you sponsor?
For a small investment your organization can reach an impactful community of active and engaged members. Participants in this race return year after year. This diverse group includes serious Half Marathon and 5K competitors as well as friends and families there for the Walk and Kid's Run.
The proceeds of this race support educational programs and exercise classes for people with Parkinson’s disease and help provide financial support to Wisconsin families struggling to afford all of the additional costs of life with Parkinson’s. Simply put, your generosity helps to provide education and support to everyone in Wisconsin affected by Parkinson’s disease, helping them live life to the fullest.
Megan RamstackMy name is Megan Ramstack. I am the Chapter Coordinator for the Wisconsin American Parkinson's Disease Association. The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association is the only affiliate of the national organization in the state. As such the only statewide Parkinson’s association that supports the needs of Wisconsin’s Parkinson’s community, and also is actively working to support medical advances to reduce the progression of and hopefully find a cure for Parkinson’s. We are committed to raising public awareness of Parkinson’s disease and making a difference in the lives of those living with Parkinson’s and their family, friends and neighbors.
