Event Date: September 20th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Location: Dovetail Brewery and Demo Brewing Company, Chicago, IL

On September 20th, 2025, we are transforming parking spaces in Chicago into vibrant public parks for our PARK(ing) Day event. We invite you to partner with us in this innovative celebration of community, creativity, and thoughtful urban design. This is a unique opportunity to align your brand with a forward-thinking event that champions a more livable and connected Chicago.

    About PARK(ing) Day

PARK(ing) Day is a global movement that temporarily transforms metered parking spaces into "parklets." The goal is to call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat.

Our 2025 event will be held across two bustling brewery locations, creating a festival atmosphere designed to inspire and engage.

    Event Highlights & Reach

Your sponsorship will connect you with a diverse audience of community members, urban enthusiasts, and local families. The event will feature:

    • Two Vibrant Hubs:

      • Demo Brewing Company: A community hub with live music and a main stage for speakers.

      • Dovetail Brewery: An interactive showcase for urbanist advocacy groups to present creative displays.

    • Engaging Activities: Attendees can enjoy a guided beer tasting and history lesson at Dovetail Brewery's barrel room, followed by an Urbanist Trivia challenge.

    • Influential Speakers: The event will feature talks from politicians, candidates, and urbanist advocacy groups. Confirmed speakers include Alderman Martin (47th Ward), Cook County Commissioner candidate Drake Warren, and State Senate candidate Nick Uniejewski.

    • Prominent Urbanist Groups: Confirmed participants include Abundant Housing Illinois, Strong Towns Chicago, and the Parking Reform Network.

    • Diverse Food Vendors: A curated selection of local food vendors will be onsite, including Tacomatora, Hey Beignets, Irene’s Chicago, Do-Rite Donuts, and Barry’s Sweets.

    Why should you sponsor?

As a sponsor, you will receive significant brand exposure and demonstrate your commitment to community improvement and innovative urban solutions. We are seeking to raise $3,500 to cover the essential costs of the event, with any additional funds raised going directly to the participating urbanist groups to advance their missions.

    Sponsorship benefits include:

    • Brand Visibility: Your company's name and logo will be featured in all event advertising.

    • On-Stage Recognition: Receive acknowledgment from the main stage during the event.

    • Community Goodwill: Showcase your organization's commitment to creating a more vibrant and people-focused Chicago.

    • Direct Engagement: Connect with an engaged audience of local residents, community leaders, and advocates for positive urban change.

Your financial support will help cover crucial expenses, including:

    • Sound and Staging: $1,000

      Site Services (Restrooms): $814

    • Security: $615

    • Permitting and Contingency: $400
