The brand
Glowyth is a Paris based high-end clothing brand for contemporary, dynamic and extrovert women.
Inspired by the glamour of Paris and the artistic soul of her designer Ana Ruiz, every collection is a new surprise inspired by a different theme, with a style that relies them to the identity of the brand.
They're produced in small ateliers from right of the middle of Paris, which reduce environnemental impact and increase social impact of the brand.
The designer
Ana Ruiz, from spanish roots and parisian soul starts her artistic training with graphic arts studies in Paris (France) in 2005, and works in several communication agencies and as a freelancer in Paris, before pursue fashion design studies in Alicante (Spain) in 2010. There she learns fashion draw, handmade pattern, sewing techniques and moulage.
In Juny 2011 she already participates to her first runway show in Alicante with a small couture collection very elaborated and handmade, inspired by the light and darkness of the human being.
In September 2013 she presents a mini couture collection inspired by painter Salvador Dali merged with Andy Warhol's pop art, completely craft, pleated and painted by hand, like if it was one of his paintings taken alive.
The runway show is shown on a local tv channel and her dress is chosen to illustrate in picture runway's press article.
She presents at the same time the first prêt-à-porter collection of her brand Glowyth, then she quickly catch attention of international press and articles of her apear in more than twenty newspapers, websites ans fashion magazines in the United States, Japan, Spain and Mexico.
She then moved back to Paris and participated to several fashion show there and just came back from a Fashion Show in Milan she was invited to and won the designer's trophy.
