About the event
I am Jan Pilon a Madison artist and art workshop teacher. I love the local art scene in Madison but it is rather expensive to be an artist and show your work. Especially if you don't know the right people. Our Goal at the Yellow Rose is to be able to Promote Artist that have never had a show or don't have enough work to do a show on their own a place to build confidence and get their feet wet.
I would like to be able to host a monthly paint night at The Yellow Rose, our non-profit gallery as a fund raiser. This event would support the gallery and local artist that wouldn't be able to show their beautiful creations otherwise.
Painting with Aunt Jan would be a marketing tool that the Gallery can use to promote ourselves and the budding art talents that we encounter.
The events will be recorded edited and shown on youtube.
These videos will include a paint class people can watch and follow along in the style of Bob Ross. Gallery tours of new art and Artist interviews.
I am looking for sponsors to off-set the cost of Art Supplies, Video Editing and equipment, and Refreshments for the events.
The Monthly events will cost $600 to $800
