OTFC 101: Summerfest Fight Night,

About the event

Our Event is about Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). MMA is a full contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts. Oringinally promoted as a competition to find the most effective martial arts for real unarmed combat, competitors from different fighting styles were pitted against one another in contest with relatively few rules. Later, MMA has grown to a worldwide sanctioned sport. Highly covetted for its raw entertainment.  

Why should you sponsor?

The Event is a master plan of Justin and Ravynn Moran, Owners of O-Town Fight Club.  Justin was a youth Boxer as a teenager in the town of O'Neill, a rich Irish town.  It provided an outlet other than hanging out and getting in trouble.  Well, that was 16 plus years ago, and now the entire area has no boxing, no martial arts, and no fighting sports of any kind.  So Ravynn and Justin set out to start a new gym and promotion and bring back fighting sports to Holt County Nebraska.  The town has two festivals a year which are their dominate St. Patricks Day Festival and thier Summerfest Days in July.  St. Patricks Day Festivals in O'Neill, Nebraska have recorded in the tens of thousands to the Irish Capitol, Summerfest also draws large crowds of people, but they are limited to only having the choice of The Rodeo  as the big show.  After speaking with every business owner who has sponsored the Rodeo, every one of them states the same thing, "Summerfest is just another Rodeo now, heck ya we will help ya."  Although we have got the support of the local businesses and sponsors, this year only brought in $1,000 in local sponsorships due to us not beating the Rodeo Commitee to the punch.  Businesses gave what they could and showed their excitement, responding with a guarantee of sponsorship next year instead of the Rodeo.  Justin spent years as a bull rider so there was no pre judgement to the Rodeo as an event during the festival.  We just wanted to offer more.  Food, Fun, and excitement for the whole town.  These shows are expensive to put on but draw in large crowds.  Your business would be heard and seen by thousands.  Our MMA Event is not just a contest, its a part of the festival as well.  We are having several food, clothing, and specialty vendors on site for enjoyment and diversity in cultures and productivities.  Without the help of sponsorships, these events would not be possible.  Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see your logo on our cage, ring girls, and media.
