Open Source Learning Club of USICT is organising an Open Source Meet up both for freshers and experienced for bringing the developer community together for having an engaging discussion about the world of Open Source and how the devs can use the open source technologies as well as contribute to the same. We would be having GSOCers and current GSOC mentors in the discussion who will guide you how to become a part of open source programmes like GSOC, Codeheat, etc.

The meetup will be headed by Mr. Harshit Dwivedi, an ex-GSoCer of FOSSASIA, current GSOC and Google CodeIn mentor and Google Developer Expert for Firebase with an excellent knowledge of working in Android. He is also regular speaker at Google Developer Group (GDG), Devfest and an international icon in the field of mobile app development.

And of course the attendees will be provided with cool swags as we devs are always greedy for them

Why should you sponsor?

Our event is a part of our college's annual technical fest which is going to have a footfall of 9000 students and professional this year. In the event, we are having an expected crowd of 200-300 people. Already we are having about 75 registrations a week before the event just in a single day of branding of our event. Since the event is based on Open Source Technologies, we are going to have a huge crowd of web, mobile developers from the entire region. In that way we need sponsorship for refreshments for the attendees. The speakers coming in the event are international icons in their fields.

So there will be high chances of branding of the sponsors among such a huge crowd.
