About the event

It's a Hearthstone league, where we host a once a week tournament for 8 weeks. At the end of those 8 weeks the top preformers go on to a finals tournament and compete there. There is a broadcast with a host going over the tournament and making comments as it goes on. Anyone can join in for the first 8 weeks so it's very accessible, and the ending tournament will draw in people who got eliminated in those first 8 weeks to watch the broadcast.

Why should you sponsor?

The broadcast isn't where the money is in this opportunity, we're a new league so there likely won't be a lot of exposure there. However, the gamers themselves are people who will buy products. That is where this can be a great opportunity for exposure. For a trial run we ran a "preseason" tournament to guage how much interest there was for something like this, and we saw 1,200 people show up and compete. The infastructure to run the event is already in place, and it's possible to directly send a message to all of those involved, and since it's online it's easy to look up immediately. Additionally, if you'd like and are in the silver tier, it's possible to make registration at your site a prerequisite to signing up for the tournament. This means while the number of people interested will go down, the exposure for your site will sky rocket.

I'm currently attending UNL as a CS student, I'm a sophormore with an interest in machine learning. During the coronavirus pandemic my school has been taking a break and I've been looking to other opportunities. I've always loved hearthstone and I saw this as an way to show that passion.
