About the event
One Night In Africa is a showcase in honor of theindependents day of the DemocraticRepublic of Congo (DRC). This showcase will present talents from CongoleseModels, Dancers, Singers, and Actors. This is the one night everyone will be able to enjoy an Congoleseatmosphere. From the foods, drinks and entertainment. This is a night that will represent a trueAfrican celebration of independence in an elegant manner.
The main stream of the night will be a play called the “missionaries”.This play will present the story of Simon Kimbagu a spiritual leader who battled with themissionaries that landed in his land in the DRC to teach them Jesus and keepthem away from their traditional and ritual affairs. Congolese most topactors and actress coming straight from Europe and the Congo will act in the play.
The night will conduct a fashion show, showcasing Africanmodels and designers. Also will includetraditional dances from the DRC, music and song performances of the Congo andthe famous play of the “missionaries”.
Various different Congolese stars will be there to help usshowcase the beauty and talent of ournation.
Our Goal is to educate the rest of the world by showing thedifferent cultures and history of the African countries that we present.
