About the event
Generations 2 Come LLC, is a Community Partnership Organization. This summer we have partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to ensure children of low income families do not go hungry and without food during the summer break. Through the SFSP we are able to serve hot/cold lunches and snacks to the children enrolled in our summer camp program and to any child 18 and under throughout the entire community, FREE for 10 weeks of summer.
Also through our "ON THE GO SUMMER CAMP" (mobile camp) program we provide daily activities and field trips for the children, to help keep their minds as well as their bodies active. Our daily trips can range from a trip to the museum to a slip-n-slide good time at the water park. However, because of our recent budget cut we had to pull our transportation for field trips & activities for the children.
Therefore, we are asking for you to help us help our kids continue to be active and explore by sponsoring the transportation cost of $8000 for our 2015 ON THE GO SUMMER CAMP.
