About the event

Music Revolution is back after a 1 year hiatus.  Music revolution was created to showcase emerging talent from UK and beyond. Our motto is Power to the Music ! 
On the 31st March 2016, Music revolution will return to the brand new venue Stereo 92 located in Stoke Newington. 
Acts on the night will be as followed 
Charlotte Turnbull 
From Wallington, Surrey started recording covers in the bedroom and uploading them to her channel on Youtube. Quickly attracting positive feedback from a steadily growing audience, she gathered the courage to audition for 2015's BBC The Voice.
She was one of the last few singers to audition, leaving only two judges, Will.I.Am and Tom Jones to have one spot each left in the competition. Whilst Rita Ora was blown away by Charlotte’s audition and wished her spots weren't filled so that she could have turned for her, Jones and Will decided to gamble by choosing to see who else auditions. However once the show was over, it was clear that they had missed opportunity in not picking Charlotte. Social media agreed and Charlotte was flooded by many supportive tweets including Becky Hill, a former The Voice UK contestant and the vocalist featured on Charlottes audition song ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’.
 
Charlotte is currently working on recording her original debut EP.

Nick Aslam 
Nick Aslam is one of the UK’s most original sounding singer songwriters. Hungry from the council estates and streets of Burton On Trent he continues his quest in the music industry with great support from the BBC & local radio stations across the nation.  Nicks sound has grown through the acoustic roots of Country and Indie holding a maturity in his song writing which has been compared to the grit of Cash meeting the romance of Richard Hawley,
Through working under the musical wing of mentor Martin "Youth" Glover Nick has reinvented his own sound hitting back with a new Brit Pop Rock & Roll sound that will make you proud to buy records again!
