Off Course is about giving back to the St. Louis community, specifically to nonprofit organizations that service children and families in the areas of child trafficking, child maltreatment, domestic violence, homelessness, education, foster care/adoption, and mental health. These social issues affect our community as well as on a global level. We must support the organizations that serve populations affected by these issues. Most nonprofit organizations are underfunded and it's imperative we keep them funded in order for them to carry out their intended missions.
Because Off Course is a community based business. We are here to be a service to others. We are about bringing awareness to public health matters and awareness to more community resources. We want our particpants to learn and know more names out in the St. Louis area.
My name is Brittany Grant, a University of Southern California graduate, class of 2016. I received my masters in social work, where I further confirmed my life's purpose is to progress social work on a macro level and in a way that gave back to the future of our world, our children. This is where Off Course was birthed. I have two children of my own and have the privilegde of giving them a good life, but I know all too well, this is not the reality of millions of children, be it locally, nationally, and globally. My goal is to be a service to those children and families who are off course in life due to the circumstances mentioned earlier. I thank you for your time.
