About the event

Ofelia Voleva Soltanto Nuotare is a photographic exhibition on the theme of violence against women. It is connected with social groups and media to try to raise awareness of the issue of femicide in Italy and around the world.The exhibition is a collaboration with Australian artist Samuel Webster and Italian criminologist Mariantonietta Anania and has already travelled to two locations.

Why should you sponsor?

In addition to the sponsorship packages listed below, we are also interested in discussing a larger fee to produce the exhibition at a national level (that is, "_____________ presents 'Ofelia voleva soltanto nuotare") which is a sponsorship that will last for all locations on the Italian itinerary. We are currently talking with another 4 locations across Italy to take the exhibition through until 2017, but the list is growing steadily as this is a very important cause for all communities.

Similarly, at the lower levels, there will be possibilities for the continued/repeated sponsorship of the exhibition across a range of locations in Italy and, when the project goes international, in other nations. Sponsors who have joined the project at an early stage will be considered first for any positions in the international sponsorship roster.

Ideally, the sponsor is sympathetic to the issue of violence against women or has some connection with photography/art/digital media/young artists.

There is much that can be discussed about the exhibition, so upon response we will be more than happy to arrange a Skype discussion to fully detail the exhibition and its future plans.
