  • About the event

    On the 26th of August 2015 Dominica was struck by a devestating Tropical Storm which left dozens injured, hundreds homeless and over a EC$1 billion in infrastructural damage.


    The Overseas Dominican Assistive Community (ODAC) is currently working in collaboration with the Dominica High Commission, Dominica National Development & Disaster Fund (DNDDF), Dominica UK Association (DUKA),  Dominica Overseas National Association (DONA), Dominica Secondary Schools Association (DSSA), Calihaut in Focus (CIF), Dominica Carib (Kalanigo) Association (DCA) and other Dominica associations and individuals of high esteem. 

     

    As part of the Disaster Committee, we are responsible for fund raising, event planning and collaboration with other individuals for the purposes of raising funds and awareness.


    We are planning our second fund raising event in December, planned as a comedy/Auction event. We seek sponsorship to cover expenses in order to maximise fundraising potential.
