About the event
OCR America is a 7 day 26.2 mile a day Obstacle Course Race (OCR) journey occurring between June 19 and June 25. Strength & Speed owner, CTG Pro Team Member and Hammer Nutrition Sponsored athlete Evan Perperis will be running a marathon length OCR course everyday for seven days in a row.
The goal of OCR America is threefold:
1. Raise money for children of US Military veterans that were killed or wounded in combat overseas through the charityFolds of Honor.
2. Raise the publicity and awareness for Obstacle Course Racing.
3. A personal challenge.

Day 3: Tuesday June 21: Viking OCR at Sunny Hill in Greenville, New York
Day 4: Wednesday June 22: Newbsanity Mud Gauntlet in Binghamton, New York
Day 5: Thursday June 23: Newbsanity Extreme Ravine in Binghamton, New York
Day 6: Friday June 24: Dirt Runner in Marseilles, Illinois
Day 7: Saturday June 25: Conquer The Gauntlet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The main goal of the event is to raise money for the charity “Folds of Honor” while also raising the awareness of the sport of Obstacle Course Racing (OCR). OCR is a growing sport that includes major brands like Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, Battlefrog, Warrior Dash and Conquer The Gauntlet. Folds of Honor is a charity that provides scholarship money to children of soldiers killed or wounded in combat.
The event will generate most of its buzz online due to the fact that no one has ever done something like this in the OCR community. Participants at the actual events will total between 300 and 1000 participants for days 2-6 and 1000+ each Day 1 and another 1000+ on Day 7. The 1st and 7th day are normal races (a Tough Mudder and a Conquer The Gauntlet race respectively) so athletes at that event will be aware of OCR America and will visit the website but will not receive a shirt.
