About the event
Established in February, 2014 and making a triumphant comeback for a third year in a row. This popular comic book convention that took the Northwest Indiana region by storm is confident that more fans will attend and embrace everything we have to offer; An affordable pop-culture comic-con that is family friendly with a a low admission price, free parking, comic book artists, VIP guests, multimedia guests, various collectible, toy, and comic book dealers, a cosplay contest, food concessions and more.
The NWI Comic-Con provides our sponsors and advertisers with the opportunity to get their brand and products in front of thousands of attendees from all walks of life. Be part of the regions premier pop culture phenomenon that brings the perfect blend of comics, gaming and entertainment, appealing to fans everywhere.
Do not fall under the misconception that comic books are just for kids. While some comics are geared towards children the main target market for comic books is towards adults ages 18-35. These are consumers that have children, drive cars, have their vehicles serviced, rent or own homes and carry the responsibility of maintaining the plumbing, heating, cooling and more. These consumers also buy local goods, commission local repairs and services, periodically eat out, visit the dentist, doctors and more.We are not corporate owned or operated, we just truly enjoy sharing our love of Comics and Pop-Culture with the Northwest Indiana community. So the more sponsors that support us the bigger and better the 2016 NWI Comic-Con will be!!
100% of your contributions are put back into this comic book convention. The funds provided help us pay for all of the extra things that assist us in making this a bigger and better show. Some examples include extra tables and chairs, table coverings, banners, signage, printing, advertising and more. (Plus the NWI Comic-Con is a registered LLC so a Tax ID number is available upon request.)
In closing, please help us help you! Lets form a partnership that is beneficial to everyone involved. Our fans are your customers or new potential customers. Even though 75% of our attendees were from within the Northwest Indiana region our online ticket sales and Geo-location web statistics from the 2015 February event showed, we had many attendees that traveled from Indianapolis, Chicago, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio.
