There is no doubt that Pet Owners of Ireland love their pets and want to celebrate their beauty, personality and uniqueness – we are just a nation of animal lovers.

You probably already spend hours taking pictures of your pets and sharing them with friends and family on social media. It’s just what a good pet parent does!

Over the last 2 years we have celebrated this love that pet owners in the 32 counties of Ireland have for their pets during our annual Nose Of Tralee competition. By hosting this competition we have given pet owners the chance to show their love countrywide for their pets.

What Is The Nose Of Tralee?

The Nose of Tralee is an annual pet competition which celebrates the love that pet owners have for their pets in the 32 counties of Ireland. Pet owners can submit pictures of their pets online to be in with a chance to win the title of 2016 Nose Of Tralee.

The competition has been running since 2014 and has 2 years of winners.

Both dogs have been great ambassadors for the Nose of Tralee competition.

Why Enter The Nose Of Tralee?

The Nose of Tralee is open to all types of pets across Ireland. We welcome entries from cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, pigs..you name it!

Along with being in the media spotlight your pet will win lots of great prizes and meet lots of other Noses that they will become lifelong friends with. They will also have a chance to be the Nose of their County and compete to win the overall title of Nose Of Tralee.

How Does The Nose Of Tralee Work?

The first stage of the competition is to enter you pets pictures into the competition and tell us why they would make a great Nose Of Tralee.

A public vote them determines the top 3 entrants for each county that will go before the judges. The finalist for each county is decided through a judging process.

32 finalists are chosen (one from each county) and these then go forward to compete in a public vote to win the overall competition and be crowned 2016 Nose Of Tralee.

The competition is run online and so you don’t need to worry about attending events. All you need to do it take the winning picture, write the winning entry and get all your friends and family voting!

What Happens If My Pet Wins The Nose Of Tralee?

Get ready to celebrate! The Nose Of Tralee is a fun competition that really highlights the love people have for their pets in Ireland and the support that they have from family and friends.

The title is kept for one year and your pet will become part of a loving community for previous Nose finalists, winners and runners up.
