About the event

On behalf of the Hope Institute for Children and Families (Hope), we invite you to join us as a sponsor at our 10th Annual Night of Hope Celebration which will be held at the Hope Institute Learning Academy (HILA) in Chicago on Friday, October 10, 2014. We are celebrating Night of Hope’s 10th Anniversary by featuring music, an auction and a variety of delicious petite bites to delight your pallet!

Hope, founded in 1957, is an educational innovator for children with developmental challenges which grew out of a residential campus in Springfield and has since expanded to become so much more. We now impact more than 23,000 children who represent a broad spectrum of learning styles and abilities—and their families. Hope’s been able to pioneer a learning environment that supports students to achieve optimally, regardless of socioeconomic background, learning style, or ability.

In Chicago, HILA is changing the way children are educated by serving as an institution where children with different learning styles and abilities are taught side by side. HILA is a K-5 contract school in Chicago, founded in 2009 in partnership between the Chicago Public Schools and The Hope Institute for Children and Families, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through the combination of rigorous academics, the approach of classroom inclusion, the development of social and behavioral skills, and community connectedness, HILA is creating a new breed of civic leaders.

The proceeds from the 10th Annual Night of Hope Celebration enable us to provide critical services and support to children with autism and spectrum disorders. We hope you will join us in our efforts to raise funds and awareness for the important work that Hope provides. Our 10th Annual Night of Hope Celebration is a monumental occasion and stands as a testament to our longstanding commitment to the children and families we serve.
