Florida State University has launched it's Master's degree program in Interdisciplinary Data Science. Our goal is to ensure 100% employment at graduation for all students who complete the curriculum. Students begin during the fall term, and seek internships to complete during the summer.
We are planning a welcome event for the incoming students in the fall term. FSU Data Science faculty, soon-to-graduate current students, and local Tallahassee tech company representatives will be invited to greet the incoming class and welcome them to Tallahassee's tech community.
We are working to build a strong pipeline of talent to companies that are searching for data science talent. Our students will graduate with skills in machine learning, data mining, object-oriented programming, and statistical regression. Companies who choose to sponsor the event will be added to our network of recipients of a resume book listing students who are seeking internships and jobs. Additionally, sponsorship of FSU Data Science events will allow participants an opportunity to give a short presentation at the event to discuss your company and it's mission and culture.
