About the event
In honor of Birth Defect Prevention month in January, we are hosting a writing, design, and video contest to spread awareness of the dangers of Neural Tube Defects, one of the top fatal birth defects worldwide.
Why should you sponsor?
As a sponsor, we will make an Instagram post featuring your company made by our chosen design team. Additionally, we will feature you on our YouTube and Instagram Story as well. We will promote your services to the younger generation of high schoolers.
Additionally, our event is dedicated to a crucial cause, so we would appreciate the support to help us spread awareness!
Jasmine LiuMy name is Jasmine Liu, and I am a current junior in high school who is passionate about medicine and data science. I founded the 501c3 fiscally-sponsored nonprofit called NeuraHope with my friend, Natalie Osorio, after we embarked on a research project together exploring birth defects, specifically Neural Tube Defects. Not many students, or even adults, know of the potential harms of Neural Tube Defects or the causes, thus through our organization, to raise awareness to this issue and prevent these defects from occurring in the younger generation!
