    NAZHOEN-ISTA

    Fashion Shows have always been glamorous events which boost visibility and promotion of brands associated. Nazhoen-ISTA is an annual Fashion Designing Contest among young designers and models with the theme, ‘Fashion for Climate change.’ This is the 3rd edition of the show which intends to provide platform to creative designers to display their art and equal opportunity to models to showcase their talent as a youth engagement program during long winter vacation.

Moreover, since our organization is all youth led, they are the future customers in any type of business.     Our organization has 110 active registered members and more than 5000 Face book members and volunteers which are all young people. And mostly they are school and college goers.

    This team will promote event in their schools and colleges.

    The event will be covered by our daily newspaper, Kuensel and National TV, BBS and other radio station like Kuzu FM.

    • Online Media:

    The event Ads will be displayed on our website. Advertisements will also be carried out on some targeted third party website.

    • Social Media Networking:

    Promotion of the event through popular social network like facebook, linkedIn and Twitter.

    • Addresses social issues

    Since our theme is based on Climate change, we are indirectly telling our audience that these companies and organization are also involved in addressing the issue. We also make our participants aware of many issues like waste management, domestic violence, rising suicide issues, and etc.

    TARGET GROUPS

    As we are committed to provide platform to youth, the target groups we focus on are – college goers [age 18 – 28 years], professionals in the fashion industry, press community.


    Sangay Thinley

    Youth Social Cooperative is a 39th cooperative registered with Department of Agriculture and Marketing Cooperatives with the vision to inspire young people’s ideas. We are the first youth led cooperative and the member of International Cooperative Clliance Pacific Asia.  Young group of people have started in April 2015 as we felt we need a ‘Youth led Cooperative in Bhutan’.  Currently we have more than 100 registered members and more than 5000 members in the Facebook. We are here for the youth to create ideas into business. Our team organizing this Fashion show have well experienced as we planned and executed successful fashion show till 2nd edition which was held at Taj hotel.

     In the past 2 shows, we are backed up by Sabah Bhutan(Main funder) , Taj Hotel(Hall), Zimdra, and other individual donors.
