About the event
NDSRVA brings education and entertainment to all Salsa, Latin, Jazz and music lovers. It enriches lives, brings joy and bridges cultural differences through music, rhythms and dancing. NDSRVA is dedicated to all dance enthusiasts who enjoy learning and connecting with others while having fun.
During this 1st annual celebration, we will make a contribution to the Wounded Veteran K9 Unit and will dedicate it to Roderick Wimberley “DJ El Duro” who passed in 2021.
NDSRVA will have:
- Workshops for percussion, along with dance lessons for adults and children
- Dance performances by various local dance studios
- Amateur Dance Competition with cash prizes of $300, $200, $100 and a people’s choice award.
- Live concert and dancing

Angel Alberto Rodriguez SerranoIt is organized by Salsa Guy Richmond, LLC, Mr. Angel A. Rodriguez Serrano of Salsa Guy Richmond LLC and Mr. William Estremera Jr. of Citiboyz Music, LLC, both Army Veterans.
Salsa Guy Richmond LLC has been in Richmond since 2008 and is known as the Latin Dance and Entertainment Expert, experienced in Latin, ballroom, Hispanic folk dancing and organizing events.
CitiBoyz Music, with over 30 years in the music business, manages and promotes artists. We ensure music producers and music writers are protected under the copyright laws, provide guidance and mentorship to artists, producers, and music writers. We have added a new branch for 2019, CitiBoyz Music Entertainment, managed by William Estremera Jr., who focuses on bringing live entertainment to the Richmond area.
We collaborate with local businesses to provide the best social experience in a safe, friendly environment, thus facilitating people of all ages to meet, learn Latin dancing and Latin culture in Virginia. Together, these powerhouses recently celebrated Veteran’s Day with a successful sold-out event for honoring Veteranos Salseros (Veterans Salsa Lovers).
Providing logistical support and performing are the Puerto Rican Folk Group Tradicion and The Salsa Rueda Club of Richmond Virginia.
