About the event

The NASA Space Apps Challenge brings together a diverse community of problem-solvers including students, developers, designers, and scientists to use NASA's open data to tackle pressing challenges on Earth and in space.

This year, we are excited to announce our goal of hosting the World's Largest NASA Space Apps Local Event, with an expected turnout of over 8,000 students. This ambitious event aims to unite innovative minds in addressing diverse challenges through NASA’s open data, promoting global collaboration and ingenuity. Additionally, we have submitted this record-breaking effort to the Guinness World Records.

I'm Nikitha from Office of International Affairs & Admissions, Dayananda Sagar University, the Event Lead for NASA Space Apps Challenge, Harohalli - 2025. This year we've set out a ambitious goal of hosting the World's Largest Local Event for NASA Space Apps bringing together 8000+ students to use NASA's open data to tackle pressing challenges on Earth and in space.
