NASA's International Space Apps Challenge is a yearly hackathon that takes place in over 180 cities in the world, with the goal of finding solutions to NASA designed challenges. It is a weekend long competition where engineers, coders, designers and students get together to compete worldwide with some of the best talent around the world. NASA provides its resources and makes its data available to the teams remotely , connecting them with the best information to help solve the problems. Wining teams get chosen to compete at the global level.
This year we'll be hosting the event at BNOTIONS, a mobile design agency in Toronto.All of our events are free and run by volunteers and the community. This is the third year running this amazing event.
With all the barrage of hackthons now running for every idea and issue imaginable, no other event inspires the mind of tech talent like this one. This event is to date the largest, most recognized hackathon and has been running for over 4 years. Globally in 2015 this hackthon came up with over 900 solutions. It is a unique event that brings out the most inspired and dedicated and has sold out withink weeks of tickets becoming available every year.
Your contribution would help the event be a success and garner admiration and exposure to some of Toronto's most inspired talent, while showing your support for the tech and onnovation community in Toronto.
