About the event

myWindsock Hot Lap

- One lap of Oulton Park course time trial race

We are offering a chance to race your bike, off road at the lovely Oulton Park race circuit. Riders will be set off at 30 second intervals to give it their best shot at the one hot lap.

There is also a one hour free ride slot at the start where riders can either warm up and recce the course or other people who don't wish to actually race, can have a ride around the circuit.

Why should you sponsor?

This race is a huge opportunity for cyclists to race their bikes on the iconic Oulton Park circuit - normally for motor racing.

The jeopardy of other road traffic is taken out of the equation and riders are able to enjoy racing on the beautiful track.

You will get exposure to all the racers and the family, friends and spectators that attend. 

You will get PR in a positive, sporty and friendly environment and we will give you access to photo material so you will get content.

Caroline Norbury

I'm Caroline, married to Ben, who is the creator and founder of myWindsock.

I predominently work in entertainment and events and Ben is a cyclist and software developer. I have worked all over the world for the past six years, dancing and entertaining people. I've worked at weddings, festivals, shows, parties, pride events, circuses, cruise ships and more. Ben, as race secretary, hosts local time trials every tuesday on behalf of Congleton Cycling Club. We're putting our two passions together to host our first big off road, track cycling event. We are both ambituous, determined and passionate individuals. We are super excited for this upcoming event and look forward to hearing from you.
