About the event

‘The Muslim World Awards’ – a recognition in achievement accolade

With the help of local and national sponsors we are looking to conduct the above stated event for the very first time. We are looking for new sponsors who provide us with valuable support in promoting our event and who reflect our very own aims and values. This is a great opportunity for an organisation to reach a wide audience and a young, talented target market.

MWE is a privately funded organisation which is working towards the promotion and development of Muslims in business and the public eye. By holding these events, we hope to provide a platform to bring together achieving Muslims and an audience from all over the UK and the Muslim World.

We at MWE are looking to give recognition to achieving and inspiring Muslims and in doing so will encourage other Muslims in becoming a positive stitch in the fabric of society. Our Winter Walk event was a great success in bringing Bloggers, Designers, Businesses - both established and startups - all together encouraging an audience of Muslims to follow their dreams and bring their ideas to life (see www.MWExpo.co.uk for more details on The Winter Walk).

This event will be held on Saturday 19th March 2016 in East London from 5pm onwards. Entry will be ticketed and a family friendly environment mixing business with pleasure.

The event will consist of an awards ceremony, comedy, entertainment, 3 course meal and much more. There will be various, well-known, online bloggers, entertainers, public figures and VIPs attending the event.

The Muslim World Award will be awarded to well-known personalities from Sports, Media, Journalism, Fashion, Business and other inspirational sectors.

We will be printing 5000 leaflets (minimum) which we will be handing out at various locations throughout East London/Greater London area.

We will be conducting an aggressive social media campaign (cross-platform) with the bloggers and presenters we have on board. Some of these bloggers have upwards of between 80,000 – 300,000 followers each! Although we are expecting to sell an allocated 500 tickets for the day, our online reach will be vast and by far greater.

We are also in contact with various local sponsors in the Food, Travel, Media, Education and Financial sectors.

We are looking for sponsors to contribute a small amount towards the cost of the event. An amount which the organisation will not only make a return on but a respectable profit too. The promotional and advertising opportunity will be a highly advantageous and lucrative one.
