About the event
When studying a degree music most students don't realize how there is over 100 career opportunities. Our event is designed to help that student find what career fits them and which career they will be successful at sooner rather than later.
Our conference is FREE to everyone! We solely rely on our sponsors and fundraising to make all that we do possible.
This conference registrations starts at 8:30am and goes until 6pm.
We have three great guest speakers this year, a celebrity guest panelist, panel discussions to elobarate on multiple music career topics, workshops for in depth learning and hands on experience, as well as a music networking portion for our audience to learn about the different music careers that are offer locally as well as the different degree opportunities that are offered.
We also hope to raise funds to provide scholarships at this event, which will help us place students in internships.

Kayla MinniearMusic Is My Future is hosting a networking conference that is partnered with Owens Community College. Our conference is designed to allow students, of all ages, to network and learn about the hundreds of career opportunities that are within the music industry as well as learn how to create their plan for success within the industry. The funds we raise through our Program Ads and Sponsorship will go towards providing the best speakers and panelists we can while also being able to keep this event entirely free to the public. This will allow everyone who is interested to see what colleges/universities offer degrees in music, what local music businesses and organizations are currently seeking interns and employees, what music scholarships are available, and the ability to learn from music professionals, and do all this completely free !
It would be a tremendous help if your business would consider purchasing an ad in our programs. There are multiple spots available, at various levels to fit all budgets. These programs will be in the hands of every person attending this conference. The programs will be their guide for what location and what time our speakers will be sharing their knowledge, biographies about the speakers, information about the conference, scholarship information and more. We are estimating around 500 attendees of all ages.
We also have openings for event sponsorship that will guarantee banner placement and verbal recognition. These include but are not limited to Main Stage Sponsorship, Guest Speaker Sponsorship, and Panel Sponsorship. Sponsorship can be customized to fit your budget and needs/wants and can include video, specific banner placement, website and social media announcement, logo on merchandise and more. We also consider product or service as a trade for sponsorship.
Our event is Saturday June 18th, at Owens Community College Center for Fine & Performing Arts. Some of our guest speakers include, Jimmy Larrick (local music professional), DJ Rossstar (popular Hollywood web show host), Paul Allen (country music manager), and Chad Szeliga (international and top charting musician).

As you consider purchasing an ad , we are excited to announce that we are officially a 501(c)3 non profit organization, and you are able to use your contributions as tax-exemptions. All remaining funds after expenses are paid for each conference will go towards developing music scholarships to help build a student's success in the industry. Deadline to respond is Monday May 16th.
