  • About the event

For the past ten years PMC has successfully hosted the annual Multicultural Festival. The goal of the festival is to facilitate the integration of newcomers/refugees into Canadian society, inform them of Canadian heritage, and shine light on the diversity in Canada. Through this festival, PMC seeks to strengthen diversity in our community by welcoming all people and raising awareness for the services PMC provides. The festival will be a warm and welcoming space for the new immigrant and refugee population in the Peel Region to celebrate diversity and create social connections.

    Why should you sponsor?

Being a non-profit organization, financial and material contributions are paramount to the success of the event. We anticipate over 500 people will be attending this exciting festival and we are confident that through your partnership with PMC for this event, your company will not only gain exposure to the 500 attendees but also the potential to reach the 7000 new immigrant clientele PMC serves annually as indirect beneficiaries. Your contribution will be recognized at our annual general meeting in November 2019 and all sponsors are welcome to attend. Additionally, PMC would be very pleased to provide you with a charitable donation receipt and to promote your company during the event.

    Rebecca Ye

My name is Rebecca Ye and I am the event coordinator for the Peel Multicultural Council (PMC).

PMC is a non-profit, charitable organization founded in 1977 to address social, linguistic, racial, and cultural needs of the rapidly diversifying population of Peel. Its vision is to promote a harmonious multicultural society and its mission is to be committed to lead and empower communities through education and providing the necessary tools for creating a healthy and integrated society.

PMC’s work in the community focuses on empowerment and inclusion for individuals involved in the settlement process. We service our community by educating, informing, and providing resources for these individuals. Its five key service pillars consist of settlement and integration of newcomers to Canada, neighborhood development, health and wellness, education and training, and employment support.
