About the event

Mr. Rho D Chi is Rho Delta Chi's male "beauty" pageant charity event. This is an event that our sorority has normally held every Spring semester during our Philanthropy Week, but it was stopped due to Covid. This is our second year in a row that we've brought it back and we'd love to be able to put on an even better show than last year's! We are using this pageant to bring awareness to our chapter's philanthropy, International Justice Mission. International Justice Mission is a non-profit organization that partners with local authorities in 16 countries to combat trafficking and slavery, violence against women and children and police abuse of power. This style of event is a way to make the charity event very fun and engaging to people attending!  Essentially, we'll have between 8-10 contestants from different organizations competing in 4 categories with a winner at the end who earns some prizes and gets to donate 20% of the event's proceeds to a charity of their choice as well!

Why should you sponsor?

The funds that are donated will be used to fund our charity event to make it go smoothly! We are a very small sorority so we don't have many funds, so, without sponsors, we'd be shouldering a large amount of the cost which we can't really afford. This is due to the fact that we are donating the proceeds and aren't able to earn money from concessions this semester which is our main source of income. Any sort of financial help of any amount would be greatly appreciated! Your funds will not be wasted and I will be happy to discuss any other changes in your package you may want in order to fully get the benefits you desire. Again, any help is greatly appreciated!

Jenny Dang

My name is Jenny Dang, I'm an MIS student in my graduating semester, and I am currently holding the Vice President Service position in my sorority Rho Delta Chi. I am in charge of anything related to service opportunities and philanthropic activities. This is the first time I've ever planned an event of this magnitude before, but I am willing to make it an event that is unforgettable! I want to be able to challenge myself to do something that's out of my comfort zone and this event is a great opportunity for me to do that. I absolutely love helping people and love being behind the scenes as the glue/backbone that holds everything together. I hope our goals align and that we can work together!
