    The "Mother's Day Pamper N' Educate" event will be our first event under our Healthcare intiatives. The event will serve as a day whereby all mothers will be invited to enjoy a day some various activities such as manicures and pedicures, make artistry and tips and massage. Additionally, the event will serve as a health seminar. For this year, the foundation have chosen to the topic of Mental health: Stress Management and Coping Mechanisms. Additionally, we will be talking about healthy lifestyle practices and its impact on mental health.

    The main priority of the vent is to educate, pamper and interact with all mothers in the "eve" of Mother's Day.

    To support our event through sponsorship will mean a lot not just to the Foundation but to the people that will be attending our event. Your support will allow us to carefully organize an event that will make an impact on the well-being of our participants.

    Additionally, our platform will be used to educate our participants about the charity, organization or business that our sponsors are apart of.

    OWN Foundation

    OWN Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that focuses on three main developmental initiatives such as Health Care, Environmental Sustainability and Housing. The organization aims that make a differences in the lives of those in low-income areas of the GTA as well as West Africa.

    In January 2016, OWN Foundation launched its very first ENVS program in Accra, Ghana at the D/A Presbyterian Primary School in the Dodowa community. With the proceeds from our Dinner and Dance Gala and the support of our communities in Canada, OWN Foundation was able to create and deliver a well established Garbage Disposal and Waste Management Practices program to 200 children in the D/A Primary School. Additionally, we supplied 6 different garbage bins and donated medical supplies to the local clinic in the community.

    At OWN foundation our mission is "to provide a better quality of life for people with low incomes, provide job oportunities, empower and educate while ulitizing people from the West African diaspora to create a sustainable future." We believe that our mandates and developmental objectives can be met through the collaboration of other organizations, interest groups and individuals. As our vision eloquently states, we want to make "change contagious."

    Currently, OWN Foundation consists of 13 young men and women with various educational and professional backgrounds.
