About the event

We are writing to invite you to participate in our Second 
Annual Mirror Image: Empowering Women through a Self-Reflection. Our mission for this event is to empower women who may have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, or low 
self-esteem. This united sisterhood creates a safe place to connect with other triumphant women and build a support system as well
as cultivate new relationships. My life's purpose is to shed light on sexual assault and help women live healthy lives beyond the experience. I uplift and encourage women to heal in order to shine bright like a diamond in their life. I want them to embrace the fact 
that past traumatic experiences do not define their destiny. 
Through personal development and transparency, women are able to connect with their inner power to change their future. Our Summit mission is to empower, helping attendees find their purpose, develop their strengths, live up to their highest potential, 
and fulfill their destiny. 
Our event will be filled with fun, empowering, inspiring 
and educational life lessons. The goal of Mirror Image: 
Empowering Women Through A Self-Reflection is to inspire 
women to overcome their past, while providing tools to unlock thefuture destined for them to shine bright. 

In order to accomplish this mission the Mirror Image: Empowering Women Through A Self-Reflection will: 
 *Share the stories of Confident, Bold, Strong and Brave women who have overcome traumatic obstacles. 
 *Provide insight into the lives of a survivor of sexual assault, 
domestic abuse and low self-esteem. What it is and how it affects us locally, nationally, and globally. 
*Motivate participants to view their “story” as a catalyst to 
changing their lives, not as a final chapter in their book. 
 *Create innovative breakout Q&A sessions that will give 
participants an opportunity to explore topics such as breaking 
cycles, toxic vs. healthy relationships, healing, and becoming a 
conqueror

Laurasha Lovett 
CEO, Coal 2 Diamond 
United States Marine Corps Veteran A phenomenal mother of 4, devoted wife,entrepreneur, student and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Laurasha wears many hats. She possesses an Associate of Applied Science degree in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at University of Maryland University College, majoring in Investigative Forensics with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Her anticipated graduation is 2016. 
As the founder and CEO of Coal 2 Diamond, she assist 
women and men who have experience sexual assault through an emotional and healing process and transform into a beautiful Diamond. She is a healing, coaching and transformation company; 
she is a firm believer in rebirth in one’s life. Laurasha is no stranger to empowerment, inspiring and uplifting women. She has more than 12 years of experience in leadership and mentorship.

Prior to 
starting Coal 2 Diamond Laurasha served 12 years in United States Marine Corps. 
Before and upon receiving an Honorable Discharge from the 
United States Marine Corps, Laurasha has been an active part of her community. Her commitment to community outreach and volunteering spans from her home, her church and well into various parts of her community. 

Laurasha continues her encouragement and support for 
women who have experienced sexual abuse and assault by working with them hand in hand with their healing process.

Through her speaking engagements and wide range of programs and services, 
from individual coaching to group coaching and also workshops with the Mentorship Program of Heritage Park Community Center, 
Laurasha continues to expand her reach.

As her list of speaking engagements grows, Laurasha is always finding new ways to reach those who need her to help them shine bright like a diamond
