The event during Fresher's Week 2015 at the University of York. The club will hold a colour festival on campus. The anticipated attendance of the event will is 2,000+.
We will be recruiting a headline act from the Ministry of Sound for the event as well as a society DJ to ensure that this is the event to attend. This is a big commitment from the club but to put on a top event we believe we need a huge headline.
Tickets will be £5 and include one pack of paint powder with more available. Every ticket will also include a free official t-shirt.
We can be confident of such a high attendance because similar events have been held for twice the price and achieved doubled the number of attendees (at regional universities). Therefore we are confident of achieving our expected attendance. The event will be published to Fresher’s via the official YUSU (student union) channels as we have worked closely with them to ensure that we are able to put on such an event as this.
In return for sponsoring the event we can offer a range of different opportunities such as: free tickets; banners on the parameter fencing (must be provided); logo on tickets; logo on official t-shirts (given out for free with every ticket); event title rights; logo on all official photos; branding of the official Facebook event; and an branded after-event video.
