Mission
- The Midwest Homeschool Expo is a purposeful, inclusive gathering of families, vendors and service providers that welcomes diversity, is not aligned with any one particular learning method and recognizes that each child and family has unique needs.
- It was created to serve families seeking alternative, non-religous educational options.
- It is a resource centered, annual event that matches current and prospective homeschool parents with a curated group of subject matter experts to learn and be inspired, as well as have access to a comprehensive group of home education specific vendors and community connections.
- It provides a unique opportunity to explore dozens of educational curricula and programs.
- Children’s workshops provide full days of abundant socialization while learning and creating.
- Evening family events remove unnecessary barriers to finding relationships and encourage friendship growth in safe and fun environments.

Jean LeeI am founding this event because I see a need in the homeschool community to connect with resources and find support. There is an unprecedented flood of families moving away from traditional classroom learning and seeking alternatives such as home education.
