MI FighterZ League,

Michigan, United States Michigan, United States

  • About the event

The Michigan FighterZ League is community driven league that connects participating events [online and offline] exclusive to the state of Michigan, while awarding respective points for each event. The purpose of this circuit is to bring DBFZ players from all over the state together to learn from one another and to strengthen the sense of community on a state-wide level. In order to accomplish this, EVERY event within the state of Michigan that hosts Dragon Ball FighterZ is welcome to be apart of the Michigan FighterZ League.
Each event within the tournament circuit will be streamed via Twitch.Tv & Stream.Me, reaching upwards of 1,000 people depending on the event.

    Why should you sponsor?

A sponsor should consider supporting the Michigan FighterZ League becasue it is a good chance to root your company's name into the Michigan Fighting Game Community (MIFGC). With the eSports business set to reach over 1 billion in worth by 2020, now is the perfect time to get in with grassroots events.

Sponsoring the Michigan FighterZ League would advertise your compnay/brand to the biggest names within the FGC, while reaching upwards of 1,000 fans throuought the course of the circuit (ends Oct. 20th).

The money acquired through sponsors will be used towards prize payouts, ideally the grand prize will be an expenses paid trip to the next major fighting game tournament. This is not possible without the help of sponsors.

    Aaron Baker

I am one of the lead tournament organizers in not only the state of Michigan, but in the entire Midwest. I have had a hand in tournaments such as Michigan Masters 2017 & 2018, Youmacon 2018, Combo Breaker 2017 & '18, Frosty Faustings 2017 & '18 as well as managing up to 30 events of my own within the Fighting Game Community.

I've been able to grow quickly as a tournament organizer because of my ability to learn on the fly, creatively problem solve issues that arise on the spot, and work well as not just a manager, but as an active team member. I've also been able to grow my small town local into a 70 man tournament through effective marketing and through the connections I've made during my FGC travels.

I've also been able to make connections with top players through my events which helps establish a trust between organizers and players. In turn, grows attendees each time.

I organize gaming events because I enjoy bringing like-minded individuals together. Especially in a field where social meetings would otherwise be a task/chore for the attendees. One of my ultimate FGC goals currently is to send a player to an event through the Michigan FighterZ League and have them represet the state of Michigan at a major.
