About the event
To celebrate 6 years of hard work and great friendship, the Edinburgh Medical School Graduates of 2019 are organsing their graduation Ball. The event will be held in Scotland, for these 230 new Graduates and some of their plus ones, to celebrate one final time together as a year group before they split acorss the country taking on their new jobs as Junior Doctors.
Throughtout our time at medical school we have organsied many events to help raise some money for this event, to enable the cost to be as low as possible to ensure everyone is able to come if desired. We have also at the same time, raised money for our chosen charity Fresh Start- a charity that helps homless people reintegrate back into society. We will continue to fundrasie for them at our Graduation Ball.
Why should you sponsor?
We would love to be able to have one final event as a whole year groups, finishing all together, just like we started 6 years ago but due to the expense of such an event we are hoping to gain some sponsorship to make sure that everyone is able to go and that cost is not a barrier to their attendance.
We will also continue to fundraise for our chosen charity Fresh Start as mentioned above, helping to support the community.
